Tahoe's Sirius Black N White Wins 9 Championship points at Canaan Dog Club of America Dog Club National Specialty weekend in Jefferson Wisconsin. Amonst the best Canaan Dogs in the country, Sirius was Reserve Winners Dog at the Specialty, April 30, Best of Winners/Winners Dog May 1 (a 5-point Major Win) and Winners Dog on May 3 (a 4-point Major win) at the Badger Kennel Club shows in Jefferson Wisconsin. Sirius now has 12 points of the 15 he needs to complete his championship.

Why is our kennel called Tahoe when were located in Southern California? Well when we obtained our first Canaan Dog in 1995 and the others in 1997, 2001 and 2002 we lived in beautiful South Lake Tahoe and the name has stuck. Our Canaans are still Tahoe Dogs at heart.

We have just 2 adult and 2 older puppy Canaan Dogs and all puppies are raised in our home, no kennels, so all our dogs and puppies get lots of individual attention! All breeding stock are tested and cleared for hips, elbows, eyes and patellas to protect our generally healthy breed against passing on genetic problems.
