About our Kennel
Why is our kennel called Tahoe when were located in Southern California? Well when we obtained our first Canaan Dog in 1995 and the others in 1997, 2001 and 2002 we lived in beautiful South Lake Tahoe and the name has stuck. Our Canaans are still Tahoe Dogs at heart.
We have 4 adult Canaan Dogs and all puppies are raised in our home, no kennels, so all our dogs and puppies get lots of individual attention! We currently have one breeding female (Luna) one male available for stud (Sirius) and Roxy and Jordy, who are retired from breeding. All breeding stock are tested and cleared for hips, elbows, eyes and patellas to protect our generally healthy breed against passing on genetic problems.
