- Janurary 29, 2005—Roxy earned her first qualifying score in Novice B Obedience at the Orange Empire Dog Club dog show in San Bernardino, CA on January 29, 2005 with a score of 173. A qualifying score is 170 out of 200 possible points. When she earns 2 more qualifying scores she will earn her Companion Dog (CD) title and will able to show the CD title after her name.
- December 19, 2004--Entered Palm Springs Kennel Club dog show in Indio, California, January 8 and 9, 2005. I have entered Roxy in Conformation and Obedience. This will be Roxy's first competition in Obedience. I believe that a few other Canaans will be entered in Conformation so if you're interested in seeing some Canaans send me an email to let me know you are comming. Check the Jack Bradshaw Dog Show Superientendents web site for information on the show.

- October 21, 2004 (Added Dec. 4, 2004)--Canaan Dog Club of America National Speciality, Leesburg Virginia. Well Noelle and I had a great time and our dogs, the dogs we bred, and the dogs sired by Jordy did very well.

Roxy--
- Pre-Novice Obedience--(Judge Dr. William Wisecup) First Place out of 8 dogs. I was thrilled as I'd only been working with her for 2 months since she had puppies 4 month before. Now I working toward earning her Novice Obedience title from the AKC.
- Junior Showmanship--Co-owner, Noelle Renteria earned Best Junior Handler. There were 3 kid in competition.
- Jordy--
- Pre-Novice Obedience--Third place. Jordy seamed to forget that he was supposed to sit when I stopped.
- Veterans Sweepstakes Class (Judge Myrna Shiboleth, Israel). 2nd Place.
- Veteran Class (Judge Steven Gladstone)--Best Veteran Dog (1st Place)
- Stud Dog Class--2nd Place
- Best of Breed Competition--Award of Merit and Qualifying for Cruffs in 2005 and 2006.
- Agility Practice-- Jordy had a great time and he ran the Jumpers course perfectly and the Standard course with dog walk, tunnel, a-frame without missing an obstacle. Jordy told me he hates obedience and wants to be an agility dog.

- October 10, 2004--Since Jordy and Roxy have earned their championships and Astra hates showing we haven't gone to many show lately. BUT, Noelle and I are very excited to be going to the 2004 Canaan Dog Club of America (CDCA) National Speciality in Leesburg, VA on October 21. We will be taking Jordy and Roxy. We will be flying from Ontario, CA to Baltimore Maryland on Oct. 19 and returning on Oct. 25. Check back in Sunday, Oct. 31 for results and pictures.
